Current Advocacy Efforts
We currently have two major advocacy projects, fighting reimbursement cuts and ensuring that children in the NPCS program (nursing for children with less medical technology) do not lose their nursing. Please visit the separate pages below for detailed information:

- Fighting Medicaid reimbursement cuts for private duty nursing.
- Preventing reductions of care or elimination of services in the NPCS program.
- Monitoring quality improvement strategies for the MFTD Waiver to make sure children receive their physician-prescribed hours, and that hours are not cut.
- Insurance coverage for home nursing care.
